What other types of cleaning do you do?
A&B also services commercial clients such as offices, businesses, construction projects, etc. 
 
Who will be cleaning my home/office?
A regularly assigned team of trained A&B Home Service Professionals will clean your home or office. All A&B employees are insured and bonded. Our cleaning professionals will not eat, drink, smoke or use any appliances while inside your home or office. 
 
How is the best way for me to work with A&B?
We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation and feedback of our services. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better. 
 
What time will A&B be at my home?
Our normal workdays are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will provide you with a 4-hour arrival expectation window such as 8:00 am – 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
 
What do I have to do before the cleaning?
So the time we spend in your home or office can be as efficient as possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, clutter or other household items.
 
What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
We treat your home or office with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, A&B will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.
 
Am I liable for worker’s compensation, insurance or employment taxes for services in my home?
Many homeowners are not aware of their personal liability regarding work related injury and social security taxed for independent home-service workers. No need to worry, A&B takes care of all this for you.
 
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No.  A&B brings all the equipment and professional cleaning supplies.
 
Do I need to be home when A&B arrives?
Most of our customers are not home or in the office when we clean. Only the professionals who will be cleaning your home or office will have access to it. To insure added security, all house or office keys are individually coded and cross-referenced. If you choose not to provide a key and we are unable to access your home or office for a scheduled cleaning, you will incur a trip charge/lockout fee of $25.
 
What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your residential service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 48-72-hour notice. When a 24-hour or less cancellation notice is given, you will incur a last minute cancellation fee of $25.
 
How do I pay for the service?
Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to A&B Professional Cleaning & Concierge Services or make an electronic credit card payment through PayPal.  Payment is expected on the day of each cleaning visit.  For our commercial accounts, this payment info will be included in your service agreement.
 
How many staff members do you send?
It will depend on the size of the job.  However, it is typically no less than two.
 
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, as long as you notify us within 24 hours (or 1 business day) after the cleaning.
 
Do you give references?
Yes. We are happy to provide you with references. 
 
Do you come to my home and give me an estimate?
Yes, our prices are based on the square footage of your home or office and it's current condition.  To provide the most accurate estimate, a site visit of your home or office would need to be scheduled. 
 
Do you clean windows?
Yes, but only when requested and for an extra fee.
 
Do you work on Saturdays?
Yes, we have a limited staff on most Saturdays.  If you want a Saturday appointment it is recommended you call well in advance.
 
Do you clean carpets?
We only vacuum carpets.  If carpet cleaning is necessary, pricing will be provided in a separate estimate.    
 
Do you do laundry (wash clothes) or ironing?
 No, unless it is agreed upon in advance and only for vacation rental homes. 
 
Will the same staff member continue to clean my home on a regular basis?
Yes, as long as that staff member is available.
 
Do I have to lock up my pets?
No. Our staff members like pets and are happy to have them around, as long as the pets feel the same way! We'd like the opportunity to be introduced to them by you on the first visit, if possible.
 
Do I have to sign a contract?
A&B requires that you sign a service agreement which protects both you and the company.   
 
Do I tip the staff?
No, tips are not accepted.  Fees charged include all services rendered.  
 
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes, we are licensed, bonded and insured. Documentation will be provided upon request.
