#1 Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?
  For your convenience there are two programs you may choose from. The first one does not include any supplies or equipment for cases that you have all the necessary supplies and equipment at home and you want to lower your cost. In the second program we will supply all necessary supplies and equipment.

#2 Do I need to be home when you come to do my house cleaning?
  Most of our clients are present for the first cleaning, or provide us with a key. For security, only the maids who clean your home will have access to your keys should you choose to leave a key with A & B Cleaning . For added security, keys are coded individually and cross-referenced separately. If you choose not to leave a key, special arrangements can be made to accommodate your specific requirements.

#3 How do I pay for the service?
  Payment is accepted on the day of each visit. All of our first time cleanings must be paid in cash. Thereafter, we can accept cash, checks or credit cards. When paying by check or cash, most clients find it convenient to leave payment on the kitchen table. Checks are made payable to "A & B Cleaning". We also accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

#4 What happens if I forget my scheduled cleaning?
  For your convenience, our friendly staff will call to remind you of your cleaning. Due to the advanced scheduling of cleaning, should you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning, we would appreciate a 48 hour call prior to your cleaning date.

#5 What happens if my scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday?
  If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we can either schedule it a day before or after the holiday. We will contact you to make arrangements.

#6 I have jewelry and other valuables that I keep in my home. What kind of protection do I have if something is damaged or stolen?
  We ask that you do not leave any cash or valuables lying around your home.

#7 How soon can you come and clean?
  On first time cleans, we will make arrangements to come out for a quote. Depending on our calendar and schedule, usually within 24 hours if service is urgent and we have an agent available. Please check our calendar for available days and times.

#8 Do you move the furniture?
  Our regular pricing includes moving most sofas, chairs, end tables, and other light items of furniture. Beds, dressers and heavier pieces are left in place under our regular pricing structure. These items can be moved upon request, however, the homeowner must remove all electronic items and breakables from any item of furniture that you would like us to move.

#9 Do you clean after pets?
  Pets should be introduced on the first visit, and unfriendly pets should be kept outside. For health safety, we are unable to clean up after pets, unless prior arrangements and approval have been made.

#10 We have children, can you pick up after them?
  We are a full service cleaning service. If this is a requirement you have, it will be discussed in the arrangements on the first visit when you receive your quote. If this need is periodical, you may call ahead of your scheduled cleaning day to make arrangements based on the original quote.

#11 Do you clean...?
 
  • Garages- Typically no. However we can sweep them out if necessary. 
  • Front or Back Porches- Yes, we can sweep the floors and clean cob-webs from the ceiling.
  • Yards- Unfortunately, we are not equipped to do any type yard work.
  • Windows - No, however, we contract with a company to perform these services.

#12 Do you clean carpets or wax floors?

No, however, we do have a company that we can contract if necessary.

#13 What about gift certificates?

Yes. Contact Cathy for more information.  Gift certificates range from $75 and up. These certificates can be used toward any of our services.  Great closing gifts for realtors.
